While Bisbee is a top-tier destination for craft beer and spirits, dedicated wine-tasting rooms within the city limits are relatively limited. However, you can still find high-quality local pours if you know where to look.
Where to Taste in Town
If you want to stay within the historic district, these spots offer the best wine-focused experiences:
- 26 Souls: Located inside the historic Oliver House, this speakeasy-style bar features a “carefully curated” menu of premium wines and craft beers.
- Legion Bar and Grill: While known for BBQ, they specifically feature a menu of locally sourced wines.
- Cafe Roka: Widely considered one of the best dinner spots in town, it is highly recommended for its extensive wine list and upscale pairings.
Beyond the City Limits
The “limited” nature of Bisbee’s wine scene is mostly because the actual vineyards are located a short drive away in the High Lonesome area or the Sonoita-Elgin wine country.
Guided Wine Tours: To solve the “limited” local options, many visitors book through B Active Bisbee, which runs daily 6-hour tours from downtown Bisbee to three different wineries in the surrounding region.
High Lonesome Vineyard & Hofmann Vineyards: Located about 15–20 minutes away in McNeal, these are true farm-to-table experiences where you can tour the production facilities and meet the vintners.
