Suds and Sports Memorabilia
In the quiet, residential charm of the Warren District, Ballpark Brewing Company stands as a heartfelt tribute to both Bisbee’s storied sports history and the community’s future. Located just down the road from the historic Warren Ballpark—America’s oldest multi-sport stadium still in use—this family-owned brewpub offers a home-run experience for locals and visitors alike.

The brewery is housed in the meticulously renovated Henderson Lumber Company building, which dates back to 1908. Inside, you won’t find generic decor; the walls serve as a “local sports hall of fame,” adorned with vintage memorabilia, high school jerseys, and clippings celebrating Bisbee’s legendary athletic moments.

Named after the Bisbee High School mascot, the Puma Red IPA is a favorite among hop lovers. Because they brew in small batches, the tap list is always fresh, featuring everything from crisp pilsners to smooth stouts and house-made seltzers.

The menu at Ballpark Brewing hits all the right notes for comfort food fans, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Widely considered some of the best in town, these burgers are available in single or double patties and are often paired with their “phenomenal” seasoned fries. The wings are a local favorite, cited as some of the best wings in the state by regular patrons.

Founded by the Vertrees brothers—both born-and-raised Bisbee locals and high school coaches—the brewery was born from a desire to give the Warren community a family-friendly gathering space. While the business and historic building were offered for sale in late 2025 to allow the owners to focus on their teaching careers and families, they have committed to remaining open and operating as normal throughout 2026 until a buyer who shares their community vision is found.
