A Seat at the Table
Located in a 115-year-old building in the heart of Douglas, the Last Supper Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of artwork inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece. This unique cultural landmark offers an experience that ranges from the deeply reverent to the wonderfully eccentric.

The museum’s massive inventory of over 3,000 pieces is the result of a “100-year collection”. Founder Eric Braverman, a veteran of the heavy metal music industry who toured with bands like Metallica and Slayer, merged his lifelong personal collection with thousands of items acquired from a previous museum in Indiana.

While there are hundreds of traditional paintings and sculptures representing more than 50 countries, the museum is best known for its unconventional interpretations including depictions made from coal, volcanic ash, ostrich eggs, mother of pearl, Lego bricks, and even banana fibers.

There are pop culture parodies including The Last Supper reimagined with characters from Star Wars, The Simpsons, South Park, and Sesame Street, along with Last Suppers etched into shoes, cigarette butts, frisbees, and a collection of PEZ dispensers.

The museum operates as a nonprofit Art & Music Center dedicated to revitalizing the historic district of Douglas. It provides art supplies and mentoring for local youth and offers yearly scholarships to Cochise County Community College.
