Breakfast at the Edge of History
The Bisbee Breakfast Club (BBC) is a popular Arizona breakfast and lunch destination that began in the historic Lowell district of Bisbee in 2005. Originally opened in the former Rexall pharmacy and a neighboring glass factory building, it has since expanded to 10 locations across Southern Arizona, including Tucson, Mesa, Chandler, Marana, and Gilbert.

The flagship restaurant is situated at 75A Erie Street, serving as the anchor for Lowell’s “living museum”. The diner is housed in the historic Rexall pharmacy building and an adjacent former glass factory.

The interior features high tin ceilings, creaky wooden floors, and a retro Formica counter, offering a quintessential “blast from the past” diner experience.

Known for its “mountainous” portions and scratch-made comfort food, the menu features several local favorites including the Copper Queen skillet, blueberry granola pancakes, gigantic biscuits, chicken fried steak and house made desserts.

As of early 2026, the restaurant is operating under a lease extension with mining company Freeport-McMoRan. While there were concerns about the building’s structural safety, a reprieve was negotiated to allow the original location to stay in place until at least September 2026.
Weekends are exceptionally busy; visitors are encouraged to arrive early and take a stroll past the vintage cars on Erie Street while waiting for a table.
