Mile High Music Festival

The Mile High Music Festival is Bisbee’s premier outdoor sonic celebration, transforming the high-desert landscape into a vibrant stage for regional and national acts.

Held annually at the Jonquil Motel, the festival offers a unique “”Bisbee’s back yard” vibe.

The festival utilizes the Jonquil’s private outdoor courtyard and stage, which is tucked away from the main tourist drag. This “hidden pocket” of Bisbee provides an intimate setting where music echoes against the canyon walls.

Music & Performance

The festival features a curated mix of regional acts, with past performers including Melissa Reaves, Moonlight Beach Club, Juniper Djinn, and the Whiskey Lickers.

In addition to live bands, the event often incorporates circus acts, street performances, and whimsical art installations synonymous with the Burnerella celebration.

The festival aims to showcase local small businesses and foster artistic connection in a family-friendly, dog-friendly environment.

• Sun & Shade: Located at over 5,000 feet, the Arizona sun is intense. There is very little shade, so hats, sunscreen, and hydration are non-negotiable.
• Seating: This is a “bring your own” event. Pack low-profile lawn chairs or blankets; standard-height chairs are often restricted to the back to ensure everyone can see the stage.
