Old Bisbee Brewing

Pints on the Patio

Established in 2010, Old Bisbee Brewing Company stands as a cornerstone of the historic “Mile High” town of Bisbee, Arizona. It holds the distinction of being the first brewery to operate in the city since 1891, effectively breathing new life into the legendary Brewery Gulch district.

The brewery’s design is a blend of modern precision and historical grit. Situated above the iconic gulch, the facility utilizes a custom-built system where the beer is literally pumped under the street from the brew house to the taproom. This engineering feat allows visitors to enjoy pints just feet away from the serving tanks.

Old Bisbee Brewing is renowned for its diverse and authentic selection, ranging from classic styles to unique local experiments. Popular choices include the crisp Classic Pilsner, the Copper City Ale, and the robust Royal Stout.

A standout non-beer option, the Salut is a sparkling, fermented beverage made with champagne yeast and natural extracts like elderberry and peach, often described as a “resurrection brew”.

Beyond beer, the brewery produces Bisbee Blue Gin, a highly-regarded spirit often served as a “gin liqueur” to be sipped and savored.

The brewery offers two distinct environments for visitors. The taproom is an intimate indoor space where guests can sit at a stainless steel bar or near the tanks.

A spacious outdoor area providing “birdseye views” of Brewery Gulch and the surrounding mountains. It is equipped with misters for the summer and heaters for the winter, making it a year-round destination.

While primarily a brewery, the establishment offers a focused menu of high-quality snacks including beer-simmered brats and complimentary popcorn.
